With the announcement of the Union-class Map Scale DropShip, Overlord-class Map Scale DropShip, and the Overlord C-class Map Scale DropShip during the BattleTech: Mercenaries Kickstarter campaign, we were excited to bring some of the most iconic ships of BattleTech to modern plastic. But one question remained, murmured throughout the community, “Where is the Leopard?”
It was definitely on our radar, and now here it is! Whether hot-dropping MechWarriors into the fray or acting as an important, logistical mule (not to be confused with the Mule-class DropShip), the Leopard-class DropShip is ubiquitous around the Inner Sphere.
It’s easy to see why too; with the room to pack a full lance of ‘Mechs, sufficient firepower in order to clear a drop zone on its own or with minimal escort, and cheap enough that even small mercenary outfits can field them in decent numbers if needed. The Leopard-class is a ship that won’t fade away for a long time, and it is about time that this iconic DropShip has made it to modern plastic!
Inside this pack, you’ll find the miniature of the Leopard-class DropShip alongside a flight base and acrylic flight stand!
